From what I've read in the older books back in the day there were very specific lines drawn between good and evil Digimon...but so much time has passed that for the most part those lines have been blurred.
For example traditionally Picodevimon have always been less then heroic and pure Digimon...but many tamers have them and fight for the side of truth justice light and fluffy bunnies.
Was there anything particular about how Dobermon fought? Did he seem out of control? Bloodthirsty maybe?
