... I wanted to check on Tiff-chan...

[Hangs his head.] I haven't seen her since the morning I got killed and... It's my fault she's hurt... But I can't even see her because they moved her to some different place...

[Looks up at Hoshi.] I thought maybe if you took me to see her...! No one would have to know! And we'd come straight back!
