Welcome to the Digital World. The devices you have are the D-Comm and D-Reader. The D-Comm has a map function, and allows you to communicate with other Tamers via audio or text. The D-Reader allows you to scan and hold items in it.

It can be for the most part, but just like Earth or any other world there's mountains, forests, jungle, desert a few cities among some other places.
